Congregation Emanu-El’s egalitarian education program for children covers all ages up to Bnei Mitzvah.
Toddler Program
Toddler Time, designed for parent and tot Hebrew fun, is geared for children aged 0 to 4 and incorporates Hebrew songs and letters in an engaging way.
Hebrew School
Hebrew School is for children in preschool to Grade 5. The B’nei Mitzvah program is for students in Grade 6 and 7. Students in Grade 7 receive tutoring to prepare for their B’nei Mitzvah.

Congregation Emanu-El Hebrew School is more than just a place of learning; it's a warm and welcoming community. Your child can form lifelong friendships and develop a strong sense of belonging to a vibrant and caring Jewish congregation.Weekly Classes:
A typical Hebrew School Sunday starts with a community Havdallah, where family members may choose to join before they drop off their child(ren). After Havdallah, students gather in multi-age groups to learn Hebrew at their level, and learn songs and prayers. After a communal snack, students have time with their age-group classes studying Biblical stories with a modern twist, mitzvot and other Jewish traditions. During the year there are opportunities for families to connect through various community activities.
Enrichment Class:
These enrichment classes give students the opportunity to explore special projects that delve deep into the Jewish experience. These sessions might include special crafts, cooking in our kosher kitchen and special projects in the community.Fees (2024–25)
